by Dr. Warren Bass of the Washington Post Warren Bass is deputy editor of Outlook, The Washington Post’s Sunday commentary and opinion section. He joined the paper in September 2004 as its nonfiction book review editor. Previously, Bass served as the lead staffer handling National Security Council issues for the 9/11 Commission and was one of the many writers and editors of the 9/11 Commission’s bestselling final report. He has also worked as a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, as the director of the Council’s post-9/11 terrorism program, and as an associate editor at Foreign Affairs. by Dr. Elan Ezrach of the International School for Jerusalem Studies at Yad Ben-Tzvi Elan Ezrachi is the Director of the International School for Jerusalem Studies, at Yad Ben-Zvi. Prior to this, Dr. Ezrachi served as the founding International Director of the MASA project, a joint initiative of the State of Israel and the Jewish Agency for Israel. He has also worked as the Executive Director of the Edgar Bronfman Mifgash Center and as an international lecturer on Jewish identity, education and demography.
