Itinerary Highlights: (subject to change)
- Two days of CLE courses on Israeli law, taught by the faculty of Tel Aviv University Law School.
- Receive 12-14 CLE Credits - 14 CLE credits approved in NY, PA and accepted in CA; course is eligible for credit in all states with mandatory CLE requirements
- Meet with Supreme Court Judges, senior Ministry of Justice officials, military judges, rabbinical judges, Muslim Family Court judges, private practitioners, and lawyers engaged in civil rights, human rights and terrorism litigation
- Discuss and debate with scholars and practitioners the cutting-edge legal issues facing Israel, including the proposed Israeli constitution, the legality of the separation fence, and charges brought against Israel in international forums
- Engage in workshops with the legal staff of the Israel Religious Action Center
- Tour Israel's Supreme Court, the Knesset, civil court, rabbinic court and Muslim Family Court
- Visit significant Israeli sites such as Yad Vashem and Independence Hall
- Explore historic Jewish sites dating from 4000 years to today, in Jerusalem and in Israel’s north
- Enjoy several opportunities for networking with Israeli and American lawyers
- Parallel programming for non-lawyer spouses and partners on the CLE course days
Cost for Lawyers, Land-Only: $3178 includes CLE tuition*, deluxe hotel accommodations in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Tiberias.
Cost for Non-lawyers, Land-Only: $2735 includes optional touring during CLE course time and same accommodations as listed above.
